From 1 January 2026, the official currency in Bulgaria is the euro. This change also affects the capital of companies, which until now has been shown in levs.
If you have a company, by 31 December 2026 you must bring certain company documents in line with the new currency and announce them in the Commercial Register. To meet this obligation on time, you need to know:
