Daycare “Karapuz”

Аll-day childcare for Ukrainian refugees children 4-6 years (possible to attend from refugees
from other nationalities, who speaks Russian, Ukrainian or Bulgarian language).

Full Day Nursery - daily, full day care and educational program for children ages 4 to 6. The daycare has been open since June 2022 and has had 50 children go through it, with a permanent group of 12 children currently. The aim of the nursery is to provide a support option for parents of children who have been unable to find places in local nurseries or have failed to integrate into them. The children are cared for by a team of Ukrainian teachers and professionals in various fields. Starting from December we will resume speech therapy, music, dance, painting and ballet classes.

 

Art workshops, Bulgarian and English lessons for children
Open Arms conducts art workshops for children of different ages and language lessons in Bulgarian and English.
There are still places available in the Bulgarian language groups for grades 2-4 and in the group for grades 5-6.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

You don’t need to get a prior appointment. The service is free but is open for donation.

The capacity of the service is 15-17 kids, as of the beginning of November only 5 places are available.
The daycare doesn't provide food, but there is a refrigerator and microwave. The organization provides all necessary materials, water and sometimes an afternoon snack/fruit.
