USRF Foundation

USRF Foundation manages the Compass Community Center in Plovdiv – a center dedicated to the protection, social inclusion, and integration of asylum seekers and beneficiaries of international protection.

About the Organization

The foundation was established in March 2022 under the name Ukraine Support & Renovation to support people fleeing the war in Ukraine. As its work expanded, the organization broadened its scope and today provides support to refugees, migrants, and people in need, regardless of their nationality, origin, or religion.

The foundation's mission is to promote integration, personal development, and full participation in Bulgarian society by providing comprehensive support, guidance, and assistance in finding sustainable solutions.

Services at the Compass Community Center

The center provides:

• Information support
• Social support
• Educational support
• Psychological support

The team works to promote access to education, employment, and successful social integration. The center collaborates with local institutions and partner organizations to create a safe and supportive environment for children and adults.

Bulgarian Language Courses

USRF Foundation organizes free Bulgarian language courses for Ukrainian nationals in Plovdiv. Classes are held between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

Main Initiatives

• Humanitarian Center – collecting and distributing donations to people in need.
• "Second Home" – a temporary accommodation buffer center for refugees.
• "From Heart to Heart" – psychological support for children and adults affected by war and traumatic experiences.
• Compass Community Center – services that facilitate the adaptation and successful integration of refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers into Bulgarian society.
