Helpline for Ukrainian refugees with cancer

The Joint National Cancer Network (JNNC) is a national cancer network in Bulgaria. The project and the helpline for Ukrainian refugees with cancer 0700 20 280 are managed by JOMN.

The line is available for both children and adults. Through it they receive information and psychological support from a specialist. A call to 0700 20 280 is the price of a city call, whether from a landline or mobile phone, and is available to people nationwide.
 

Mental Health 
The Mental Health platform (bjcn.bg) provides the opportunity to video link with specialist psychologists and therapists. Through the platform you can consult with the experts completely confidentially.


The necessary steps to book an appointment are:

  1. Choose which specialist you want to contact
  2. Fill in the form indicating your preferred consultation time
  3. A specialist will contact you shortly and agree next steps.

You can rely on a qualified team of specialists who will suggest:

  • Psychological consultations
  • Individual psychotherapy sessions
  • Family therapy sessions
  • Group therapy sessions

The service is provided subject to the following principles:

  • Accessibility - the service is daily and with nationwide coverage;
  • Confidentiality - information shared by the client
  • Tolerance - the personality and dignity of the caller is respected, as well as their opinions, views and beliefs;
  • Voluntariness - the caller provides information of his/her own volition and can end the call at any time.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Each session lasts 50 minutes. Online sessions are conducted via Skype video call.
Each specialist has set times. Scheduling is in accordance with the specialist's and patient's availability
