Financial assistance program for Ukrainian citizens seeking protection in Bulgaria until 15 Devember 2023 
Individuals should meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Household with at least one person with a disability - first priority
  • Household with one or more persons over 65 years of age - second priority

Integrational information center in Sofia 

The center provides the following services:

  • Inclusion in Bulgarian language classes in accordance with the European Language Framework - A1, A2 and B1 (Only the certificates issued by the BRC for a successful exam in Bulgarian language, level B1, are accepted when applying for Bulgarian citizenship)
  • Assistance in enrolling in Bulgarian schools and kindergartens
  • Assistance in finding suitable employment, joining job fairs and meeting potential employers
  • Assistance with enrolment in vocational training
  • Assistance in applying for identity documents
  • Assistance in applying and submitting documents for Bulgarian citizenship
  • Assistance in finding accommodation 
  • Assistance in obtaining medical care (registering with a general practitioner, applying for health insurance; covering the costs of health services, health insurance and medicines, and translation during medical examinations)
  • Translation and legalisation of documents
  • Humanitarian and financial assistance (depending on available resources)
  • Visits to historical and cultural sites in Bulgaria, as well as involvement in joint events with the host society

 

 

 

 

Humanitarian Assistance Centres in Burgas, Varna, Dobrich, Plovdiv, Ruse, Sofia and Yambol

The centers provide support to people affected by the conflict in Ukraine, refugees and asylum seekers from third countries, homeless Bulgarian citizens and people in crisis.

The BRC staff and volunteers provide hot drinks and snacks, psychosocial support, as well as information on additional assistance and where it can be obtained. If necessary, basic sanitary materials can be provided and first aid can be administered.

The provided services are for migrants, asylum-seekers and refugees.

Call, email or come to the center during reception hours for consultation, enrollment in language training or if you need assistance.
