Educational and Integration Center "Ukrainski Vulik" (Ukrainian Hive)

Our mission is to help the internally displaced in Bulgaria by providing them with the conditions for a new start, without fear and with faith in the future. We are mentors, advisors, partners and friends who help everyone to find their way and integrate into Bulgarian society.

What do we offer?

• Early childhood development (1,5 - 3 years)
• Full day kindergarten (3 - 6 yrs)
• Preschool (4 - 6 yrs)
• Educational courses in Bulgarian, Ukrainian and English for children and adults
• Preparation in mathematics, physics and control of online learning
• Teen platform (10 - 18 years)

🔹 Psychological support

• Individual and group sessions for children and adults
• Consultations with psychologists, speech therapists, art therapists and occupational therapists
• Support group for children with special needs

🔹 Cultural and social life

•  Conversational club in Bulgarian
• Club for adults
• Creative activities for children and adults
• Dance and computer literacy courses
• Large library with books in Ukrainian and Bulgarian

🔹 Integration and adaptation

• Helping mothers and children to adapt more easily in Bulgaria
• Support when looking for a job or starting a business
• Familiarization with Bulgarian culture and traditions and introducing Bulgarians to Ukrainian culture
• Supporting the Ukrainian diaspora

Our impact

✅ Over 580 children visit the centre
✅ 40 families with children with special needs receive assistance
✅ 65+ Bulgarian language courses conducted
✅ 543 children and 400+ adults have benefited from our services since the opening of our new facility in October 2023.
