Foundation Supporting Women Survivors of Violence – F. L. Y. – First Love Yourself

The mission of Fly Foundation is to empower and support women who have experienced violence, including domestic violence, as well as their family members and loved ones. The organization actively works to prevent violence in all its forms by raising public awareness, increasing visibility, and carrying out monitoring activities.

Support from Professionals

• Qualified psychologists and therapists – identifying cases of domestic violence, providing counselling, and informing survivors about available support.

• Experienced legal professionals – providing information and guidance to people in need, explaining their rights and the available mechanisms and courses of action.

Partnerships and Team Development

As a member of the Bulgarian Platform of the European Women’s Lobby, Fly Foundation works in cooperation with colleagues, partners, and other organizations and professionals committed to addressing violence against women.

The team regularly enhances its knowledge and expertise through training courses, seminars, round-table discussions, and public debates related to legislation, human rights, and the rule of law. This knowledge is applied in the Foundation’s work with communities to strengthen capacity, promote gender equality, activism, and solidarity.

The team of Fly Foundation is certified in reporting irregularities and protecting whistleblowers, as well as in identifying and assessing risks related to potentially suspicious partners.
