Different non-governmental organizations in Bulgaria can provide you with free legal aid. If things are not working well with your lawyer, you have the right to dismiss your lawyer and have another one appointed. To do so, give written notice to the lawyer and the court.

If you need free information on where to find legal aid, you can also call the hotline of the Foundation for Access to Rights - FAR by dialling one of these phone numbers: +359 882873238 (EN, BG, RUS, UKR)/ +359 884334283 (BG, RUS, UKR)

The line is open from 09:00 to 18:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

The service is free, but you still need to pay for the phone call.
