Being able to speak Bulgarian is key to successful integration and greater independence.

We are pleased to introduce “Bulgarian for Refugees” – a free online Bulgarian language learning platform developed by UNHCR, available at: https://bulgarian-for-refugees-unhcr.vercel.app/

The platform is based on the “Bulgarian for Refugees” textbooks, jointly developed by UNHCR and its partners. It offers interactive learning tailored to different levels of language proficiency, allowing everyone to study at their own pace, anytime and anywhere.

🌍 “50 by 35”

The development of the platform is part of UNHCR’s global “50 by 35” initiative, which aims to ensure that, by 2035, 50% of refugee and displaced young people have access to quality education and learning opportunities.
